Dealer onboarding

A business that sells through dealers, stockists or wholesale buyers needs a way to vet them and set them up. This tool replaces emails and spreadsheets with your own application form and an approval step that creates the buyer's store account. It suits a coffee roaster selling to cafes as well as a maker selling to shops.

Tools Python · Flask · PostgreSQL · BigCommerce · AWS · Claude

Built for AngelFire Ammunition

A Kansas ammunition manufacturer in Saint Marys.

The problem

Dealer applications came through a rented form service that emailed staff links to files kept on the vendor's servers, not the files themselves. After an application was approved, setting up the dealer's account and sending the welcome email were done by hand.

What I did

I replaced that form with the company's own. Staff receive every application with its documents attached, the bank form is encrypted where it is stored, and everything can be reviewed in one panel. One confirmed approval creates the dealer's store account and sends the welcome email.

The result

New dealer paperwork is kept on the company's own system instead of a vendor's. Fewer applications arrive incomplete, because the required documents come with the application instead of being chased. An approved dealer is set up with one confirmed approval instead of several manual steps, so dealers are set up faster and each one takes less staff time.

Try it Demo data

The staff review panel, rendered from its own templates with invented applications.

Interactive samples use invented data, including invented names and prices. Pictures of the samples show the same invented data. Prices in screenshots of shipped marketing are already public.
